Typical Duties
- Set up equipment, load, unload and transport tools and equipment
- Furnish experienced electricians with materials, tools, equipment supplies to complete assigned tasks
- Restock supplies and materials as necessary
- Must keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion and exhibit proper care and cleaning of tools and equipment
- Mount and install assigned hardware (such as conduit, wires and strapping)
- Hand conduit bending
- Maintain a clean work area at all times
- Demonstrate safe work habits
- Must have experience working in construction
- Basic understanding of safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
- Organized
- Able to use hand, power tools and equipment (cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)
- Not afraid of heights
- Basic math skills
- Able to read and understand blueprints, sketches, labels, job site maps/directions, instruction manuals and written instructions accurately
- Must be high school graduate or hold G.E.D.
- Must have valid driver's license.
