We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator to support our growing service team. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping our billing process accurate, timely, and running smoothly. You’ll work closely with technicians, customers, and office staff to ensure every job is billed correctly and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong accounting foundation—ideally in HVAC or a service-related industry—who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and improving processes. For the right candidate, this role offers a path to grow into a broader service accounting position.
What You’ll Do

Manage day-to-day billing activities for the service department, including purchase orders and invoice workflows

Ensure job costs are accurately captured and billed; resolve discrepancies or missing information

Work within service and accounting systems (Spectrum, BuildOps) to maintain clean, reliable data

Partner with service and operations teams to address billing and job-costing questions

Use Excel (pivot tables, lookups, filters) to analyze data and support reporting

Help improve billing and accounting workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy

Support alignment between field activity and financial reporting

What We’re Looking For

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred)

1+ years of accounting experience required

2+ years of billing and/or accounts receivable experience preferred

Experience in HVAC, construction, or service industry strongly preferred

Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems

Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial teams
